Yes. Extend the articulating arms to create space behind the TV when connecting or changing cables. Make sure your cables have enough slack before pushing the TV back toward the wall.

Route cables along the arms and leave enough slack for the mount’s full range of motion. For a cleaner setup, use cable covers, a wall raceway, or an in-wall cable-management solution.

I accidentally installed the mount upside down at first 😅 thankfully it still worked in that orientation, but definitely make sure you install yours correctly! I don’t recommend anyone take risks or improvise without proper safety in mind, but here’s my experience for context:

I live in a rental townhome where drilling is allowed. The instructions recommended a 3/8" bit, but when I drilled the first hole, I discovered my concrete wall was only about 2 inches thick before hitting empty space. I patched that hole and researched how to mount safely on a thin concrete fire‑rated wall. I ended up using Tapcon screws designed for this type of application, along with washers.

Installing the mount solo was challenging but doable. I’m fairly strong, so I held the mount in place and secured the screws quickly. The bigger challenge was lifting my 75" TV, not because of the weight, but because of the size and awkwardness. I used a sturdy rolling cabinet that was just a few inches shorter than the needed height, pulled the mount’s arm out to meet it, and used a step stool to lift the TV the final few inches. Throughout the process, I made sure nothing was positioned where it could fall on me and only lifted within what I knew I could safely handle.

If you’re accident‑prone or unsure about lifting a large TV, I definitely recommend having help.

Overall, this mount is excellent and very sturdy. The arm extends far, so you may want an extension cord for cleaner cable management. It tilts, swivels, and moves exactly as advertised; everything you’d want from a full‑motion mount.

Strong, Easy to Install & Worth Every Penny

I’ve purchased this twice now and would absolutely buy it again. It’s very sturdy and easily holds a larger TV without any concerns. Installation was straightforward—not overly complicated—and everything felt secure once mounted.

The full motion is the best part. You can pull it out, swivel it, and adjust the angle so you can see the TV from multiple areas of the room. It completely changed how we use our space.

Great quality and ease of installation

Excellent Quality and remarkably easy to install. I am not a handyman but i was able to follow the directions and my 77" LG C5 is now mounted. I really like how adjustable the positioning of the TV is!

Great product, amazing customer service!!

We originally bought another brand of TV mount from Costco. The mount was ok, but I needed to get some better directions from their customer service - what a horrible experience. I was talked down too, given incorrect information so in frustration I packed up the piece of junk and returned it to Costco. This stand came, I was impressed with it’d build quality and strength. It also extended twice as far as the Costco one. The icing on the cake came when I called their customer service with a question, they were wonderful and the install went smoothly. What a difference, I would give this company and their TV stand ten stars if I could.
